Namco Bandai to bring Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 4 to the UK

Wangan 4 UK

Yes, you read that right! Namco Bandai is thinking about bringing Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 4 to the UK and they’re asking us in what city we’d like them to do it!

We’re like super excited about this that we still don’t believe our eyes! But apparently it’s all true, and after last week’s words about an US release, now Namco Bandai is thinking about a Wangan Midnight 4 UK release!

Exactly like with the US announcement, the official Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune series Facebook page has posted a picture (the one above) asking in what UK city(ies) we would like to have Wangan 4. This implies they’re seriously thinking about some location testing in our country, and this is obviously amazing news!

We’re not sure if our online petition or our tournament coverage helped with this result, but surely this is a great day for the UK racing community!

We’re gonna keep you posted as soon as we get more info about this matter, but for now we invite you to head to the official Wangan Facebook page, to like and comment the original picture in order to show some love to Namco Bandai guys!

As usual, we leave you with the intro movie for Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 4.

I personally think that Manchester Chinatown (all UK Chinatowns really) should have an arcade cafe with Maxi and Initial D machines, how could it not make money? But the least they can do is put this in Manchester Trafford Centre Namco Funscape, Cineworld Didsbury/Ashton Under Lyne. It was popular in Sheffield Cinema multiplex as well. Basically this great series is a massive cash cow waiting to be milked in the UK, it must be one of the only games that serious arcader’s and car enthusiasts will put money into. Not to mention the potential for selling vehicle cards (have card machines in the arcade or cards you can buy online). It’s like Namco don’t want to make money or something, there’s more to the arcade world than Asia you know.
