Namco Bandai is thinking about a Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 4 US release

WMTT4 USA

The image above is pretty much self explanatory, and it has been posted on Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune series official Facebook page just a couple of days ago.

As you may already know, Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 4 has never been released in western countries and it’s always been just an Asian exclusive since when it came out in 2011.

The reasons for this are multiple. In fact WMMT4 has quite a lot of online features that force the cabinets to be always connected to Namco Bandai servers, plus it features the Banapassport system (instead of the old tuning cards) that is not yet available outside Asian countries.

But now, after the recent release of Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 5 in Japan, it looks like Namco Bandai is interested in bring the second-to-last installment of the series at least in the US.

This is obviously a great news, because if the location testing in the US goes well, we could have the chance to see the game coming to Europe too. So once again we invite you to sign our online petition to raise out voice and let Namco Bandai know that we got a pretty strong community even here in the old continent!

This is all folks, we’ll make sure to keep you posted if any news comes out in the near future. For now we leave you with the original Japanese launch trailer for WMMT4. Stay tuned!
